S123arpedon
Arsenal come back from behind twice to beat LIverpool 4-2! Henry gets a hatrick!! He truly is a world class striker and apprently although i didnt see it his 2nd goal (I think) was amazing...beating 2 or 3 players and slotting cooly past Dudek. The only other result i know is that Spurs were well beaten by Everton 3-1. Evertone are crap but they can still beat Spurs..what does that tell you! Rooney and Ferguson werent even playing! I really hoep the new Spurs manager can instill some passion, pride and fight in this Spurs team...it is emabarrassing to watch! More gams in the next few days...Arsenal ahve to play Newcastle...that should be a great game...
S123arpedon
Well, Newcastle gain a respectable draw against Arse last night...Reyes, Henry and wiltord should all have scored but didnt...with Chelsea only managing a draw against Boro they still have quite a leadwith 6 games to go... More interesting from the weekends matches were the results of the bottom teams...Leeds win 2-1, Blackburn are in real trouble. man City draw 3-3 with Wolves. its getting really tight at the bottom of the table now...Still a lot of teams could go down...this is including Spurs and Everton. I would think Spurs need 1 more win to get to 40 points and they would be safe.... They will play Man City tonight at White Hart lane...City are only 4 poiints behind...For spurs i would say this is a must win game...
S123arpedon
yeah...in the interview Ranierei pretty much conceeded the title to Arsenal already. The match yetserday though was amazing. I was only watching it on tv (obviously) but it seemed like the atmosphere was wicked!!..the crowd were making noise throughout the whole match. I still think Leeds might get out of it come the end of the season...as i said before I would like to see them go down but by beating Blackburn they have given themselves a good chance... s1lv3rtwenty2
From what I've read, it sounds like Birmingham is falling apart. Anybody know why?
Ezzzer
Quite a few surprises over the weekend indeed. Liverpool has been so inconsistent this season like beating Blackburn 4:0 and then losing to Charlton 0:1 at home, what can you say? Did you guys see the Birmingham goal against ManU? I thought it's like everything happened in slow montion and Carroll could have a sip of drink before saving the shot. But for some reasons, he was even slower than the shot and push it into the goal off the inside post. And Saha, how many chances he needs before he could score? I just think there is nothing much to see at the top of the table towards the end of the season whilst the bottom is getting more excited!
S123arpedon
Ric Parry has now come out and said that Houlliers position is not depepndent on the 4th place!! Obviously staing that CL is going to be good for the club and is more lucrative than UEFA! I also haerd rumours of a clearout at there too...something like 8 players ready to be offloaded...they only ned to offload one person and it isnt a player!! For that result, credit ahs to be given to Charlton too...after the some Parker, evryone though they would struggle and they did for a while but they are still right up there...fair play to them! I will be interested to see how they will fair next season as Curbishley hs been told thereis plenty of cash to spend over the summer...this will see how good a manager he really is...once touted as future England manager....
