beej
"Art is like masturbation. It is selfish and introvertedand done for you and you alone. Design is like sex. There is someone else involved, their needs are just as important as yours, and if everything goes right, both parties are happy at the end." - Colin Wright So is Colin saying that people enjoy watching Beej masturbate? everyone likes to watch me bash one out... Eastsidetorino
I have a few small things around the house. My Kim Taylor Reece prints I purchased directly from Mr. Reece himself as I love the work he has done with Hawaiian dance. I am considering purchasing a large statue of the Hawaiian war-god Ku for my living room. Hawaiian lore has it that Ku will protect your home from theft, and malicious intentions (not that I live in an area where that is a problem). As a photographer, when I see something that I respect greatly, whether it is for its artistic vision, or the amount of skilled labor that went into producing it, I am motivated to help that artist be able to afford their expenses to continue producing. simply_oriental
Why do people buy a non-practical art?Why would you consider spending money on something that does absolutely nothing beside sitting there and perhaps, evokes some sort of emotion. Why do you buy them if you are not being able to use it? Would love to hear your opinion. I love arts for Create an atmosphere, and i also sales arts for profit as well.Yes it's worth for both way baby.
