The big one has to be Liverpool beating Man U 1-0. It wasnt a great game at all...The tactics of Liverpool stink! they knock it around inthe midfield for a bit and then hoof it up to Own..who more oftent han not is beaten to it by a defender!! Yesterdayt hough..Man U were not much better...the shot that hit the post was very unlucky from Giggs. I dont mind Liverpool getting 4th and Keeping Houllier on...it means another season of mediocrity for them!! Blacburn look like they are safe now with a 1-0 win over Everton. Villa get a win over Boro and they were a man down! The other big game was Leicester v Man C. That was a draw which is a good result for Spurs..Currently, Portsmouth are beating Leeds 1-0 and that would also be a great result for Spurs.... I will be in the Londoner watching that...never been up to the Bullshead. Watched a couple of games in Gullivers (soi 5) but the Londoner is my usual footy place if i go out...any oher recommendations?? As for the big game tonight...for Spurs this will be like the European CUp final for them...no way do thay want the gunners to win the title at WHL and what a season if the only team to beat the Gunner this season are their biggest rivals who are currently playing some of the shittest football in their history and are still flirting with relegation!...its all set up, dont you think?? S123arpedon Posted April 26, 2004 Author Report Share Posted April 26, 2004 What a f'kin game! 2-0 down to the Champions elect but they dont give up like they seem to and they came back to get a well deserved 2-2 draw. 1st half they played shite with Vieira getting the 1st goal...they did dominate play fair enough...not so int he 2nd half. 3 up front for spurs, which actually worked this time! Another goal from Pires who really is on top of his game at the moment... Kelly did well but it was a bit much to ask him to mark Pires in only his 2nd or 3rd first team appearance! Great goal from Redknapp! gave the Lemon no chance! They didnt give up and rightly so it was a dirty foul which gave Spurs the opportunity to grab a draw. Great Peno from keane under intense pressure! Despite Arse winning the Premiership at WHl i was proud of Spurs! Leeds need to win their last 3 games to have any chance of staying up after going down 2-1 to Portsmouth! Newcastle beat Chelsea with a fantstic goal from Ameobi and Shearer..Shearers was spectacular. A good weekend of footy... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
