Alan Smith's saying Man U would be alright by him but Middlesborough have tabled an 8 million pound bid. Milner's staying apparently but the rest of the squad could be had for chump change. Pleat has gond as DoF now and they have brought in Arneson from PSV....still yet to get a manager but they have had a whole season to find someone so they had better get someone decent!! IS he really worth 10 mil though?? I think it would be a terrible move for LIverpool to let Thaksin into LIverpool..the man doesnt care about the club since he is looking at other premiership clubs too...he just doesnt have a clue about football! Who is on their way to Chelsea (if anyone at all??) There was all the talk about Mourinho before but that seems to have gone pretty quiet now...the talk is of Deschamps going there but time will tell...it could still be Ranieri after all the rumour whoring the past few months. With Frank Arnesen at Spurs now Mourinho could still be a possibility since he has worked with him before when he was kicking round with Bobby Robson...That would be great for Spurs...at leat they have a new technical director and they have cleared out their backroom staff starting with the medical team.... Villa are supposedly stalling on a new contract for Gareth Barry...you would be wise to keep him i think...I think he could be a good player and at Villa he is not playing to his potential...
