Hi it's been along time since i posted on the forum ...... Mod's if this post is in the wrong place please move

i married a Thai girl in April 2001 and we had a son in Aug 2002 we were divorced in Sept 2004 the courts gave me full custody of our son and i was remarried 3 weeks later with another Thai we had a daughter in 2005 and we are all very happy. .........

my son get's to see his birth mum every other week-end

There are no other niece's, nephews, or grandchildren in the family (Thai side)

the issue is my ex does not want my son to have a Thai id and passport (fear of military call up) i have tried to explain he can buy this away but she won't listen or reason

when i retire we want to sell up which we would need to fund our own lifestyle and go and live in Thailand, children should be at uni age when i retire. there is currently in excess of 30, mil baht of property in Bangkok and as it stands only my daughter will inherit this ...........

is there any legal way i can get my son Thai nationalised

thanks in advance

Sorry but I found her reason of not making Thai ID /Thai passport for the boy just in order to avoid military call up sound very silly (almost stupid, sorry again). Was your son born in Thailand??? Anyway, I think you should get a lawyer take care of this issue or talk to Amphor.

Your topic should not be on this "business and finance" forum cuz its name says so it's about business and finance. Nothing about business and finance in your post...BUT this mod is a lazy cow, she doesn't want to move her fingers.
