khun_lung
I think your conclusion is right, Daryl. ªÃºÃÒ¡¡ÇèÒ is the preferred way of saying it in Thai, no pun intended.
juicy_jume
ªÃºÃÒ¡¡ÇèÒ is the exact word for Prefer. However, in some sense, you can also use ÃÂÒ¡... or ÃÂÒ¡ä´é (another thing) ÃÒ¡¡ÇèÒ I'd prefer a tall glass = i'd ÃÂÒ¡ä´é a tall glass ÃÒ¡¡ÇèÒ (vt) I prefer something larger = I ÃÂÒ¡ä´é something larger ÃÒ¡¡ÇèÒ (vt) I prefer to stay in on Saturday = I ÃÂÒ¡ stay in on Saturday ÃÒ¡¡ÇèÒ (vi)
PattayaDaz
Thanks Juicy .... That answered my question. It was really to confirm that my sentence contruction was correct. Or find out if there was a less long winded way of getting my meaning across.. Seems like there isn't so I'll just use the more polite yak dai form you suggested.. Thanks again ¾é·ÂÒDaz
