S123arpedon
Great result for Spurs with a 1-0 win over the barcodes with a great goal from new signing Atouba. he missed a hatrick of chances before so it was ncie to see him get one in...a great goal and for a left footer he seems to hit the ball sweetly with his right! Both teams had their chances with Bellamy giving naybet a torrid time with his pace... Defoe could have, abd should have scored at least a couple but it was a good performance and Robinson made some very important saves to keep us in front. He will be the England keeper for many years to come...great performance! Good to see another solid showing, with a bit of steel throughout the team, with the Signing of Carrick the midfield is looking strong, still need some wide players and it looks like we are after Morten Ganst Pederson from Tromso but Blackburn might get in and sign him ahead of us... Atouba is strong but was turning some of the Newcastle players inside out at times...Are you regretting your move now Stevie Carr?? Liverpool had to come from behind to beat Man Citeh...good goals from Baros and Gerrard. Citeh a bit unlucky i thought. Palace are already looking like relegaton material with a 3-1 home loss to Everton...they could well be playing each other next season in the 'championship' these are the games palace should be winning but its still early in the season. Chelsea only beat Brum 1-0 with Bruce calling Mourinho boring and negative...with all the talent they have bought you would have thought they would have more than two 1-0 wins...still a win is a win! Man U beat Norwich 2-1 but it was great to see Norwich score and it was a good goal...funny to see Delia Smith going nuts when the ball hit the back of the net!! Today...can Boro stop Arsenal beating Forets's unbeaten record?? parlour will have something to prove... also Villa will be looking for another win... John
Needed a Man U win. They don't need an early embarrassment this early in the season!
ahpuiahsan
well, Man_U may be late comer this season. How about tonight match? Asernal & Middlesbrough? I will bet on Asernal, let the goals flow.
S123arpedon
well, Man_U may be late comer this season. How about tonight match? Asernal & Middlesbrough? I will bet on Asernal, let the goals flow. You should be a fortune teller!! Amazing game. I didnt watch it as i had to work but my bropther was keeping me updated. I think he couldnt write his text messages fast enough...the goals were flying in! Arsenal win in an 8 goal thriller 5-3 and to come from 3-1 down is impressive. Looks like championship form to me! Boro must be gutted...its not often that you score 3 goals and still end up onthe losing side although the Spurs vs Man U game a few years ago springs to mind and that also ended up 5-3 and then the Spurs Man citeh game which ended 4-3! Arsenal have now equalled Forsts record of a 42 undefeated run....who are they playing next??
S123arpedon
Whats was shebby singh saying then? I didnt see the game? They should get Jamie back...at least he talks some sense! I have to agree that Fabregas looks to be a a great player and will only get better as he gets older...still a teenager! I think the odds on Arsenal going unbeaten this season will have been severely slashed after last night! Villa only drawing with West Brom is 3 points dropped. Both still unbeaten! West Brom are looking more solid than last time they were in the premiership though...i think they have the mentality to stay up...we are playing them on Wednesday...I am hohping for another good result to continue our great start to the season! Tony001
Arsenal just recently are just looking and playing awesome football. My team Norwich City have to play them at Norwich on 28th September. I will be there. I just hope we have a few points by then, because we are not gonna get any out of Arsenal! S123arpedon
Arsenal now are one of the top teams in the world...the football they are playing is just awesome...the last game was like the real madrid side of 1 or 2 seasons ago..."it doesnt matter if they score, we will just score more"!! Reyes is really finding his feet now and i expect him to be right up there with the top scorers and Fabregas looks to be a real gem...great awareness on the ball. Dont worry about playing them...you have jsut signed the "ginger pele" from us so you will be fine!!
falangboy
The one thing I hate about the US is that you never get to see good football/soccer. Luckily, once a year a couple of good European teams compete in the NY area. Other than that I've got to watch Spanish television to see anything interesting. S123arpedon
Did you go to watch Liverpool or Celtic when they played their pre-season in the US a few weeks ago? Spanish football is pretty good though...Barcelona must be good to watch with Ronaldinho and now Eto in the teama nd of course you have Real Madrid with all the galacticos there. I will be interested in seeing them play this season with Beckham, Owen and now Woodgate in the team...
falangboy
I didn't see it. The last game I caught was Manchester United and Juventas.
S123arpedon
Chelsea new boys Drogba and Tiaggo scored their first goals of the premierhsip season with a comfortable 2-0 win over Crystal Palace. Always gonna be an easy win for them... Birmingham beat Citeh with a goal from Heskey... Liverpool just about got intot he Champions League proper with an aggregate win over Graz AK. Thgey actually lost 1-0 at Anfield and they had Baros and Cisse on the pitch. They willhave to do better then that to get anywhere in that competition. More games tonight with West Brom entertaining Spurs. West Brom are not the pushovers they were a couple of seasons ago with the new signings kanu and Greening adding some flair to the squad. I rate Greening. Looks like Keane will be back from his ankle ligament damage injury and will paly with Defoe as Kanoute ha a thigh injury. New signings Carrick and Pamarot will also start i hope.... S123arpedon
A whole load of games last night. Spurs draw 1-1 with West Brom. defoe getting the equaliser again. Both teams are unbeatedn but i would have expected Spurs to go there and grab a win but a draw is better than i loss! Arsenal break Forests 42 unbeaten matches with a comfortable 3-0 win over balcburn iwth Fabregas grabbing a goal. He really is gonna be a great player! Newcastle are in trouble..they can only draw 2-2 with Norwich and this after being 2-0 up. Nice to see old Spurs boy Gary Dogerty getting the equaliser! Sot'on go down 2-1 to Bolton. Witrh the sacking of Paul Sturrock i think they wil be in real trouble this season and relegation could be a possibility. Charlton beat Villa 3-0. Its only the start of the season so probably will find some consistency a few weeks into it...
fleaz
With Arsenal next up at Norwich away, 44 games unbeaten? why not!! For me, at their current form, i see a another entertaining full 3 points. ManU 6 points behind Arsenal, they gota start pulling up their socks.
