judging from the amount of homophobia in the world, i think turning gay gradually is a lot of guys deepest fear.

however, i suspect homophobic guys are just bigoted dumbasses, since most scientific evidence suggests you're born gay or bi, or not. in fact even if it were possible to turn gay gradually they are still bigoted dumbasses.

ummmm. will truman? my dear, that's what's called a tv show if i'm not mistaken. i've never talked to a gay person who wasnt born that way, although plenty wish they werent as one tends to get beat up a lot growing up... i dont think one gradually becomes gay but rather gradually accepts it...

my theory on gayness is that everybody is to a certain amount gay or straight, some ppl are like 99.99% straight and some ppl 99.99% gay, some are 50% straight and 50% gay, the amount varies and i think the amount can can change throughout ones lifetime.

i know ppl who were as straight as straight can be, they then moved out to thailand and started having sex with as many girls as possible, i'm talking in the thousands, after a while they got bored with having sex with girls all the time and started experimenting with katoeys, after a while of this they got bored and went for all out guys.

now if they had of stayed in their own countries where women were not available on tap they would probably never got bored with women and stayed straight, so i think it is possible to turn gay

i'm not saying it's impossible, but more that i supect that this is a function of your theory everyone is to a certain amount gay or straight and these are the ppl in th 40 or 50 percent range, *my* theory is that if you're in the 90 percent range you ain't gonna flip.

of the ppl i know who suddenly flipped a) all their friends knew before they did and B) they are still attracted to the oppposite sex.

If the word 'fancy' pertains to a desire for sex, no, I've never fancied a guy.

But I'll admit that I can appreciate an extraordinarily handsome man, like, I'll think, holy ****, this guy is one major lady-killer! For me, to deny that assessment would be like trying NOT to like a favorite Kurosawa film. As a wannabe professional photographer, my eyes are very sensitive to photogenic subjects (although 'photogenic' has a much broader sense than merely mainstream good looks).

Of course what I consider photogenic may not be perceived as such by the next person, maybe not even by the subject herself. There are many women here with whom I would love to spend an hour to see if I could capture their essence in a single riveting image. But there are a number of men that belong in that category too.

ok, we are born "polyvalent", but what about education???

education too, pushes us to be straigth ( man play with weapons, women with puppets ), so we ll never know if we are straight at origin or not.

HEEEEEEEEEEEEELP, I also was messed up in boarding school, lucky we had private showers, Slurms

i think given the amount of abuse a boy/man takes in most cultures, very few ppl would do it if they had a choice. yet clearly ppl do. so biology almost has to be the dominant factor in males who are gay.

in straight men, however, i think cultural stigma takes a stronger role. i suspect many bi men would tend to lean 100 percent straight and be REALLY uncomfortable in the presence of homosexuals. if they are not afraid of their own tendencies i cannot imagine why a straight man would be so afraid and / or angered by homosexuals, unless they're in prison.

take a look at women, a lot of women admit feeling a little bit of attraction for other women (more than men anyway) i think precisely because there's less of a stigma in modern society (men think it's hot, but if they see 2 men together some of the same men who think girls together is hot will beat the snot out of the men.)

also i'm not saying these ppl dont exist i dont know enough abouit it but evry person i know who flipped, even if they 'became gay' late in life, has said that they were born that way (yeah i ask nosy questions in real life too).

I disagree with the zeusmaster on this one. I think that queers try it and like it sometime in their lives and thus become what they are

it's possible but i think there are more taht are born that way and dont want to be and that is why they dont try it sooner. however, all the gay ppl i've talked to and i know quite a few say that they were born that way even though they usually took some time to figure it out.

i dont know that there are scientific studies about this or not.
