Kayle
I would like to turn my plain balcony into a small garden. Do you know any place where I can buy small - medium size plants around the city area (sukhumvit, sathorn, naradhiwas, etc.) prefer a proper plant shop (not a small one). I have heard that Chatuchak market on Wednesday and Thursday is a plant market, but I never been there at the time? Do you know where about in Chatuchak is the plant market? Thank you
VanillaVodka
Chatujak on Saturday & Sunday or Or.Tor.Kor on weekdays. I'm not very good with directions plus the market is huge. The plants area is right along the gate by the main entrance. Say you're entering the market, turn left and you can't miss it.
Pam_Bevan
JJ market on wednesday has the gardening section. But it is also open on the weekend. Just easier on Wednesday cos less people. Go by underground and get off at Kampangpetch Station (the one before the termial station). I suggest going early morning before it gets too hot! khun_lung
I recommend Chatuchak also. Most of the shops selling plants are near the main entrance along Phaholyothin Road.
sunsnow
I read the topic and come to see if someone is opening a business...BUT NOO, it is about some friggin' green stuff...not about byuing some nice, smoking factory... :-D cheers, "Proud owner of a coffee plant and other little green stuff. A plant, not a factory that is."
Nelis
There's a small flower and plant market in Thewet as well, just off the river taxi pier.

Loburt
Wait, there is a better place than chatuchak if you are willing to travel a bit further. I bought a lot of great plants at a place that is basically run by the army. Not too far from Kasetsart, if I'm not mistaken. I can get the location from a friend if you are interested. I found it to be a better bargain than Chatuchak. Good selection. And they will deliver also.

thaithai123
Bluebell...I think you mean the one on Ladprakao Road which about 2 km far from Kaset university. When you drive to Kaset junction, go straight to Kaset Nawamin Road for 1 km, then turn left on Lad Prakao Road for about 2 km and will see many plant shops on the left. I live in this area so I buy plants there, it open all day till 6-7pm. I always buy plants there and they deliver home. The area own by army and have the army families bidding to open the shops. So plants are kinda cheap and most important for me that its near and easy to park. Good luck.
