Strange English

Okay, here's your chance to take a well-deserved shot at the English language! It's a very imperfect language that is often confusing!

I was inspired to write this post by a young lady's profile. By the description of her work, she is a "phlebotomist". Now, how many of you know what that is? And I'm asking Engllish speakers, not Thai people! hehehe

Well, there's the old song, "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy".

So if you told your parents, "I have to go to the hospital to have a phlebotomy!", they would probably be shocked! So what does it mean?

See what I mean? Languages are so fun!
