the rising cost of rentals in Bangkok

once upon a time someone could rent a service extra luxurious condo for as little as 12 000 baht , no it wasnt in my grandpa s time , it was just on the year 2000 during that time living in Bangkok was like a paradise

very few farangs were here , and the Japanese Prices Plague didn't affect the life yet

since then the living cost in Bangkok is climbing up soo fast , that prices like 50 000 baht became so common , the continues coming of the Japanese and the foreigners has destroyed the cheapness of life , sooner or later Thailand will become Spain number 2.

some of you could argue that they are still some rooms for 5 000 baht or even less ,yes but who would consider it a life to live in some dirty and polluted area or in a chicken box , without the modern comfort.

at the end aren't we here to pamper our self ??? , otherwise why someone would leave his home town to go 8 000 miles away to stay in a worse condition

yet Bangkok it s not as the European cities , it s not so convenient to stay in some locations due ti (stray dogs , dirty soies , market muds) , I m really surprised to see some farangs who can stand living in those conditions , especially those who come from extra

clean and organised countries (Switzerland , Denmark etc etc)

I guess the rising cost of bangkok will soon kill the mass farang populations who s living here on a middle income , particularly those teachers who will be soon crucified by the high prices climbs
