Steel
First, I would like to give a big "3 hurrays" to this site and the people who made it.. I have been looking a long time for something like this, which is quiet common in Norway.. It is greate to be a part of it in Thailand to.. In that matter, I would like to talk about respect for one an another.. I know that to "loose face" is a big deal in Thailand, and to be polite is something all Thais learn from the day they are born.. Like we all do, I hope.. That is why I wonder how people who normally will answer any friendly conversation or question keep quiet in here? In my time on the internet, the polite thing to do when somebody say something positive in your testimonial, is to answer in some way.. That is how friendships are made.. After some weeks her on ThailanFriends, I am starting to wonder.. Why are people unpolite.. as I see it? I know some reasons.. Language, time.. That is ok, but i know that this site will be much more fun if we all respond to testemonials.. Give the person who cheered up your day some kind of response! :-) Is`ent that the right thing to do? Steel
My wiew on the purpose of the testimonials are slight different.. For me it is like a gestbook, and I can promise that is it a lot of fun to use it as a place to "chit chat" for everyone to see.. It make our profiles much more colour ful and friendly! :-) On the net, people tend to forget that it is actual people behind the nick.. I have not noticed this her on TF.. People here are very friendly! :-)
