The work involves editing translations of various languages into English, including Thai, but also other Asian and European languages. Of course you need to be a native speaker of English and technical knowledge also helps. For the part time work we pay 0.4 THB a word and sometimes higher. You should be aiming at doing ~6,000+ words per day. The in-house positions typically pay more than English teaching. These are not exactly the highest paid positions we have, but this field is very competitive for rates/salaries that we can afford. There are over 20 foreigners working at EQHO's Bangkok office and editor positions are to some extent entry-level positions. We provide performance based bonuses, private medical insurance, work permit (at our expense) and flexi-time.
